An Economic “Group Blog”
This “group blog” mirrors and complements a Northern Nevada discussion group fostering understanding of current economic issues and efficient solutions. Named for Friedrich A. Hayek the economic philosopher noted for his masterful analysis of socialism, “The Road to Serfdom.” More of a monetarist than his contemporary John Maynard Keynes, Hayek exposed the fallacies of statist solutions. Our dinners provide face to face “posts” on the discussion topics. The blog provides more time and room for thoughtful, considered commentary. We welcome thoughtful, considered public comments.

There is a rumor of a Reno Fed meeting/class this week. Is that your group? Do you know anything about it? I've had a couple of inquiries and am trying to track down the details. Thanks! Gia
P.S. Anyone in your group willing and competent to address some new political activists and tell them what they need to know about monetary policy – just the basic intro? Please advise
